Welcome

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is both a people and a place.

As a people, we are committed to being disciples of Christ. A disciple is a student or apprentice who has chosen to follow a master teacher. We believe that Jesus has a special calling on each of our lives and that by following Jesus we each become what God intended.

As a place, we are committed to fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ. In our place, we worship, learn, grow, and even struggle. The unique design of our facility offers places to worship, study, meditate and pray. Like the stained glass window of "The Good Shepherd" in the back of our sanctuary, symbolism, sometimes lost in our busy world, abounds.

Consider this our invitation to visit us at one of our regular times of worship or drop by for a visit, if you get the chance. At the very least, look around our website and get to know us a bit better.

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep.”
